Our unique swim centre provides a class for every age and ability, gently encouraging progression through the learning stages. For over thirty years the swim school has been synonymous with quality, customer satisfaction and above all the safety of the children in the water. We encourage lessons from the earliest age to build confidence and aim to make all our lessons a happy experience.

The learn to swim system used at Shirley pool is backed by the Amateur Swimming Association, the National Governing body of swimming, the Swimming Teachers Association and the RLSS all of whom train and qualify our staff before they start. The teaching methods developed over thirty years are the backbone of this friendly, family business. The purpose built swim school provides the ideal environment for learning the "art of swimming".
