In order to keep children motivated and engaged throughout their learn to swim journey, we have created an award scheme specifically to compliment our unique lesson framework. The new certificates have all the details of the awards printed on the reverse and fridge magnet “badges” or fabric badges can be purchased.

By assessing a wider range of skills, as well as stroke technique, which is analysed weekly within the classes, we have created a more comprehensive scheme of awards, providing continuous motivation and reward.

Personal Survival and safety skills  are now  introduced  from the Front Crawl level upwards.

Children are gradually introduced to wearing clothes in the water, learning how to cope with a sea survival situation.

There are opportunities to attempt long distance badges at special sessions. 200m to 2000m can be swum on a Holiday Crash Course or a Saturday distance session. Distances up to 100m are tested on awards week, which takes place every 10 weeks.
