Once children have mastered all four stokes they are gradually inroduced to longer sessions. By ensuring a high level of skills, the strokes don’t break down once they start swimming lengths.
The first section is Turtles where swimmers are introduce to one hour sessions which still incorporate 10 minutes of play at the end. Swimmers develop all round swimming skills incorporating a variety of water based activities including water polo and personal survival. Swimmer develop their fundamental skills and enjoyment for being in the water, which will last a life time and can remain in these squads if they choose.

This timetable will be in use until October Half term 2018 when there will be some minor changes.
For those who would like to maintain their fitness through regular swimming there are two age based squads: Swim Squad Junior, up to 12 years attending once a week, Swim Squad Senior , 13 years and over in one or more sessions a week.
Swimmers that excel in the Annual Club Championship or show a desire to train for competitions may swim in one of the following squads:
Dolphins 7: (Age 6-9 yrs)
Dolphin 6: (Age 8-10 years)
Dolphin 5: (Age 9-11 years)
Bronze Squad: (Age 10-12 years)
Silver Squad: (Age 11-14 years)
Gold Squad: (12+ years)
National: (13+ years)
