Christmas Dress Up Week!

Thursday 17th – Wednesday 23rdDecember

  • All children are invited to dress up as anything they like
  • Clothes will be worn in the pool
  • Prizes for best fancy dress and wacky costumes

Older clothes are recommended as chlorinated water can drain colour. Large costumes such as dresses are discouraged as swimming in them can be very difficult .It is good for the kids to experience being dressed in water, in case they fall in; they will be warmer and its fun

Anything goes!

Turtles Life Saving Lesson 28/11/15

The Turtles at 9am and 11.30am this Saturday will be undertaking Cold Water Survival Training & Water Rescue Techniques with the aim of achieving the Personal Survival Level 1 & 2.

They will need old clothes to wear in the water. Clothes that you do not want them to wear again are best. Old, badly fitted uniforms are okay. Long sleeved shirt, trousers or skirt, the kind of clothes that they could be wearing if they fell in a river. Not joggers, they fall off in water. Costumes should be worn underneath.

If you do want the clothes back, please ensure all items are labeled.A wet bag to bring home the dripping clothes would be useful.

Swimmers can bring goggles but they won’t be worn in the lesson.

Sorry for the late notice: We’ve only just decided to bring it forward from the next scheduled badge session as we have a film crew here on Saturday.

Any questions, please call our reception team on 02380781901.Holiday Camps_Rookie Lifeguard_2014_119178599_compressed_0
