Learning to swim as an adult takes time and perseverance, not everyone has the staying power. Naseem shows what can be achieved with practice and determination. When he first came to Shirley Pool, Naseem needed to get fit. Working nights six days a week, it was tricky to join the normal adult lessons, but he couldn’t put his face in the water. In 2016 he will attempt the Open Water Challenge of Bournemouth Pier to Pier. Well done Naseem.
