Keir was four years old when he took his first swimming lesson at Shirley Pool. Within a year he had achieved the One mile Award using backstroke and front crawl. Joining the Butterfly group for the October Crash Course, Keir was determined to make his mark.Setting off at a pace on the distance session, Keir was still ploughing on when all the other swimmers had finished and not because he was going slowly. In just under two hours,six year old Keir swam a remarkable 120 lengths to gain the 3,000m award. Star Swimmer!
