Teachers in the Water with You
From baby classes through to advanced swimmers, our instructors are always in the pool, not just on the side. This creates a welcoming, inclusive environment and allows us to support every child more closely as they learn.
Our Own Teaching Programme & Awards
We follow our specially designed teaching programme and award system, built around:

A Pool Designed for Learning
Our pool is family-built and family-run, designed specifically for teaching.
- Four shallow teaching areas mean children can stand up safely until they reach the advanced levels.
- Standing depth water allows swimmers to practise independently, rather than waiting their turn, which helps them progress faster.
- A dedicated deep end gives every class gradual, supported exposure to deep water, building confidence at their own pace.
A Community Tradition Since 1974
We’ve been part of the local community for decades. Many of our teachers first learned to swim here themselves, before returning later as qualified instructors. That continuity creates a genuine family feel, where everyone knows and cares about our swimmers
Flexible Lessons for Busy Families
We know life doesn’t always run to schedule. That’s why we offer catch-up lessons:
- Can’t make your regular class? Simply let us know and rearrange for a time that suits you.
- Feeling poorly? Take a break and double up the following week. Learning to swim should be stress-free — for both children and parents
