Put face in the water and blow bubbles
Answer the safety awareness questions ‘Is it safe to go near the water on your own?’ and ‘Who should be with you?’ (teacher can put into context for child)
Sitting entry from poolside, rotate, and return to hold on to the edge
Demonstrate a star-float on back (teacher support)
Use a woggle to travel to the middle of the pool on front, turn around and return to the side (no standing up on turn)
Jump into the pool and return to the edge (teacher support)
