There have been several security issues lately, including a stranger walking into the changing rooms and thefts from reception.

Every member should have a card, which they swipe on entry. If you have mislaid or damaged the card, a new one can be ordered at reception.

In the meantime, please present yourselves at the desk to register rather than walking straight in. Although you may have been swimming for some time, there are lots of new staff who may not recognise you.

The new welcome pack contains a waterproof Shirley Pool lanyard to hold your membership card that can be stored next to the car keys or in the swimming bag.

Please be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to a member of staff.
