Filip Fraczek-Krgier

Filip Fraczek-Krgier became the first swimmer from Southampton to win a National Swimming title in decades after claiming the 13/14 year boys 50m Freestyle gold at the ASA Summer. Filip was joined by Kate Baxter (12) at the ASA Summer Nationals. Kate qualified for the 200m and 400m Freestyle events.

Isabella Fraser-Corbridge (14) became the first Southampton Dolphin swimmer to qualify and take part in the British Swimming Championships also held at Ponds Forge
International Sports Centre, Sheffield after achieving a top 24 GB ranked time in her event.

All three began swimming lesson before “big school”, learning sound technique before  moving into stamina training. They still swim before school – at early morning training! Well done guys, we are very proud of your achievements.
