Another hugely successful crash course during the October half term. Children attended every afternoon for two hours, split between intensive teaching and supervised play. Results were remarkable: Sienna Weller and Skye Ashworth joined as “beginners” yet both achieved 200m. Five others from Philomena’s first level swam a length of the pool (25m). Star swimmer Oliver Hooper set off aiming to improve on his previous best of 25m and 90 minutes later was the proud owner of the 1 mile award. Isaac Siu also completed the gruelling 64 length challenge. Harrison Page and Lucas Worthington swam 2,000m (80 lengths), Jayden Douglas got his 1500m, Rosie Mei Dolman and Aaron Banjo swam 40 lengths for their One kilometre award. 400m badges went to Orla Page and Isaac Foley. Star teachers Hugo, Sam and Philomena were ably supported by Jodie, Jacob and David.
Next Crash Course is February half term 2019.
