A jumping activity for the small pool
Children line up on the side, toes over the edge. The boys are Prince Aladdin, girls are Princess Jasmin.
“This is the edge of the castle and the evil Prince Jaffar is coming to get you”
Jump over the snakes (woggles), swim through the secret tunnel (hoops), and escape on the magic carpet (Large float)
“Pretty princesses go first…”
Use the warm hose or any other props. A great way to distract them from fear of jumping but watch for zealous Aladdins trying to dive into the hoops..
Younger swimmers might prefer to play “Fat Sausages”
