| Well done to Max Broadgate! Seven year old Max ploughed his way through 5,000 metres last Saturday afternoon. The marathon 200 length swim was watched and counted by Dad, Jerry. The three hour session was chalked up a length at a time on the blackboard, a heroic effort in a hot pool hall by Dad. “I had a ticket to watch Saints play – this was much more interesting!” he said.
Max and Jerry are this months “Star Swimmers”. Their prize…. 2 tickets to the next available Saints home match! The next distance session will be on Saturday November 24 th at 11.30am .
