Swimming Pool - General Timetable
The timetables
runs up to Wednesday 16th July 2008 The times will change after that and be posted on this page.
The main pool is 25m x 8m, shallow both ends,
2 metres deep in the centre. Normal water temperature is 86
degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius). Lockers take a 20p
coin, which is non returnable. Parking is free and directly
outside the building.
The Small Pool is 5 metres long, 2.5 metres
wide and 0.5 metre deep. The tiled pool is kept a constant
94 degrees Fahrenheit (34.44 degrees Celsius.) The pool area
is not overlooked, but is connected by CCTV to a monitor in
reception. This warm and shallow pool is ideal for babies,
toddlers and beginners of all ages.

Baby
Splash, Parent and Child Lessons and 3 to 5 year olds are for the Small
Pool only.
Adult Lane Swimming, School Swimming and Swim Clubs are for the Main
Pool only.
Please note also - Main Pool Only:
Tuesday 9.00am - 10.00am and Thursday 10.00am - 11.00am Over 50's
Tuesday 8.00pm - 9.00pm and Thursday 7.00pm - 8.00pm Aquacise
Saturday 10.30pm - 11.00pm Junior Lear to Dive with Brett.

Can be used as make up lessons for Improvers Level and above or as an extra class or swimmers can transfer for "X" number of weeks)

The pool is 25 metres x 8 metres, 1 metre deep each end and 2 metres deep in the middle. Normal water temperature is 86 degrees. Lockers take 20p coin, which is refundable. Ladies changing facilities offer separate cubicles changing and baby changing bench. Car parking is free. Charges; Adults £3.00, OAP £2.20, Student £2.50, Child 5 and over £1.75 and Child unaccompanied (Must be over 8) £2.00. We are closed on Bank Holidays. Monthly Season ticket for unlimited swimming is £16.00 for a month via direct debit. Aquasize is £3.75 a session and Inflatable Pool Party £65.00. |
