How
to Pay and Book
The
first lesson at Shirley Pool is always a free trial.
This ensures that you or your child are happy and in the correct
class.
Phone
or call in to find a suitable time. If you are unsure which
level is right, talk to the receptionist at the pool. Try
and arrange a time that you will be able to keep regularly.
Assuming the trial is successful payments can be made in several
ways:
Direct
debit:
(See also Rules for Direct Debit Customers 2007 below)
This
is now the most popular method of payment.
All lessons
from parent & child through to Turtles are the same price:
£28.00
a month (£31.00 for adults) comes from your
bank at the start of each month and covers one lesson a week.
Under
this system, if a lesson is missed, it may be made up at another
time, where there is space, either as a double lesson or at
a second visit.
All general swimming is free of charge if payment is made
by direct debit
Monthly
distance badge sessions are included.
You can change days or groups as required.
This
unique and flexible system means that there will always be
52 lessons a year, regardless of illness or holidays.
Lane
swimmers pay just £16.00 a month to swim as
often as possible, again via the bank at the start of the
month.
At the
first visit to the pool, complete the application form and
bank details. The only commitment is a months notice, if you
wish to stop swimming.
* If paying by Direct Debit you are
entitled to swim for free at any appropriate public session.
If a member of Tadpoles or Turtles you no longer need to pay
annual subs as long as you pay by direct debit. If you are
paying for swimming lessons by direct debit, and you or your
child misses a lesson it is possible to make this up by coming
to another lesson of the same ability the following week.
(Subject to availability).
